Establishing partner network connection between Cherven bryag Municipality and Fire and Rescue Service, a part of the Ministry of Interior of Czech Republic for transfer of innovative social practices and learning opportunities and inclusion of young people in prevention activities at risk situations in order public and or corporate engagement

This project proposal of the Municipality of Cherven bryag in partnership with the Fire and Rescue Service of the Ministry of Interior affairs of the Czech Republic is treating the identified problem of high unemployment rate among young people, especially those who are not engaged in employment, education or training, including those at risk of social exclusion by offering a specific solution, through the transfer of two innovative practices - social innovations - flood prevention through the use of mobile water barriers and social engagement to manage the risk of flooding. The project will be implemented under Component one, tied with TA - eight, IP two, as the chosen target group, directly linked to specific social challenges is: Economically inactive young people who are not in education and training between the ages of fifteen to twenty nine, incl. The high levels of unemployment among the target group are based on many factors: lack of specific knowledge and skills, lack of experience, limited education, a significant investment by employers in improving their professional competence. Cherven Bryag municipality makes systematic efforts to overcome it, as the activities included in the project are directly related to solve them in an innovative way. It is foreseen young people from the target group to be involved in activities to prevent flooding through the use of innovative mobile water barriers for flood prevention and social engagement to address the risk of flooding. This is the one market niche for young people from the targeted group to finding sustainable employment. The formulated project will contribute to solving specific social problems through the transfer of social innovations, cooperation between the public and the private sector, encouraging civil participation, in order to improve the environment.
