Transnational cooperation for adaptation and validation of good innovative practices for integration of Roma women

The project will be implemented under Component 1 and IP 7. The main objective is to provide effective transnational partnership between two organizations of the EU member states - Bulgaria and the Republic of Hungary through transfer of social innovations and best practices in order to support socio-economic integration of Roma community with focus on reducing discrimination and aggression. This will be accomplished through the following aims: 1. Transnational cooperation and partnership for the integration of Roma women. 2. Transfer, adaptation and validation of at least 2 innovative practices from the experience of the partner and other EU countries. 3. Building sustainable capacity of partnership and cooperation between partners 4. Ensuring wide publicity and awareness of project activities and results The project provides activities for: research and identification of innovative methods and EU practices; bilateral capacity improvement and review of partner’s experience; adaptation and validation of two social innovations; external monitoring and valuation of achieved results; activities to inform the public, establishing a network of cooperation. Project activities will contribute to the following direct results: • Transfer, adaptation and validation of two innovative practices for the integration of women from Roma community. • Building sustainable capacity of partnership and cooperation between partners • Wide publicity and dissemination of project activities and results • Improved and strengthened transnational cooperation between partners for the integration of Roma women
