Establishment of a statistical data base and an information system for the monitoring of EU and national strategies and regional policy

‘Establishment of a statistical data base and an information system for the monitoring of EU and national strategies and regional policy' The project proposal ‘Establishment of a statistical base and information system for the monitoring of EU and national strategies and regional policy’ refers to identified weaknesses and information gaps in field of the development, monitoring and integrated approach of administrations at various levels in using of statistical information for evaluation the implementation of activities under EU and national strategies and operational programs co-financed by EU structural funds and investment during the 2014 - 2020 period. The main goal of the new monitoring system is development of statistical framework and procedures for collecting information in order to optimize the processes of data exchange, as well as accessibility and publicity of the information for regular monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of national and European strategies in order to use them in process of making management decisions and implementing of policies. As a result of project activities will be set up an online accessible information system (in Bulgarian and in English) as a viable and sustainable framework for the provision of statistical information on program indicators, as well as ensuring the integrity of the indicators system and fulfill the commitments of NSI and Managing Authorities, in accordance with Regulation (EU) № 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and the implementation of the 7 pre-condition to the Agreement on partnership and provide ongoing monitoring of the result indicators.
