Audit and status quo analysis of the information and communication infrastructure, information systems, services and registries in the "Justice" Sector

No full picture is presently available of the status quo of resources of ICI in the "Justice" Sector(JS). While the efforts so far have been sporadic and partial, the project undertakes to provide the first comprehensive and exhaustive overview (inventory) through an expert survey in all buildings housing bodies in the JS. Summarized survey data will provide full inform. on ICI status and will serve to assess what capacity and resources is necessary to service the exist. processes as well as to draw a comparative assessment of the desired state in the context of the envisaged reforms, thereby respond. to the need of analyzes to provide additional technical equip. for digitization and centralization of stored data in light of incorporating the e-justice and e-governance requirements. An analysis of the registers in the JS is also required. It shall include types of registers, type of information stored in them, consistency of information and degree of semantic interoperability and connectivity with other registers in the context of complex administrative services. The registry system review will provide systematic information on the existing registers, the need to develop new ones and the need to connect registers with a view to an easier access and exchange of information. The used methodology for the activities implementing will provide resources for the results integration with other projects in the state administration, obtaining a common vision of information technology infrastructure. This will contribute to the coherence of the results under the projects and sustainability in their implementation through multiplied effect. The review and analysis of the technical resources in the JS is a prerequisite for the implementation of other measures laid down in national strategic documents for the introduction of e-Justice such as development of registers, systems, portals. The said products will lead to sustainable results and building of a modern e-justice system
