The project is a part in execution of National Health Strategy of Ministry of Health, Politics 2.6 Development of Electronic Health for realization of National Health Information System. The project corresponds to the National Health Strategy 2014-2020. Base instruments ensuring effective functioning of healthcare system are integration and connectivity in the area of Healthcare. Effective functioning will be realized by the project Establishment of the National Health Information System (NHIS) Stage 1 and Stage 2. The project includes development and establishment in Ministry of Health of medical registers, nomenclatures, development and national implementation of unique patient identifier, evidence based medical standards, design and construction of NHIS platform, eHealth record, eReferral and ePrescription, design and construction of monitoring and control system, building rules for integration of all developed applications and work on the supervision of the award, performance monitoring and their integration into the NHIS. and activities related to the information and public relations. The total duration for the implementation of activities and achievement of the expected results of the project is 46 months, the total project budget amounts to 12 000 000.00 BGN.
