Aligning of the NSI information assets in accordance with the Eurostat requirements and migration to Hybrid private cloud

The necessity of the implementation of the project is determined by the requirements for ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of NSI information assets, management of reliable access to them and optimization of resources used for their storage in response to the continuously rising requirements of the respondents both in terms of their personal data protection and the protection of statistical confidentiality and availability of EU and national regulations aimed at information security (Law on protection of classified information, Law for protection of the personal data, EU regulations in the field of statistical confidentiality and information security). The aim of the project is aligning of the software, hardware and communication infrastructure of the National Statistical Institute in accordance with the Eurostat requirements for statistical secrecy and preparation for the certification on ISO/IEC 27001:2013. The project is included in “Priority projects under the roadmap to implementation the strategy for eGovernance development in Republic of Bulgaria 2016 - 2020”.
