Elaboration and integration pilot remote electronic voting system

The remote e-voting (Internet voting) is a modern way of exercising the democratic right of citizens. Currently traditional forms of voting are used attendance by paper bulletin or voting machine. The Election Code provides for effective remote e-voting in elections for the European Parliament to be introduced in 2019. Within the project a pilot system for remote e-voting will be implemented. It will enable all citizens to exercise their voting rights from every computer or mobile device everywhere in the world. In order to build the system a preliminary analysis of the available best remote e-voting practices will be carried out. The pilot system will be integrated with the national E-Id scheme and with the National population database. Simulations of e-voting and experimental e-elections will be organized through the system and preparations for entering the system into production mode for the 2019 European Parliament elections will be made. The system will guarantee the secret of the vote and will be protected against manipulation, viruses and other malware. Within the project simulations of e-voting and experimental remote e-voting will be organised in accordance with the provisions of 145 para. 1, para. 2 and par. 3 of the Election Code.
