Upgrading the databases for periodic roadworthiness tests of road vehicles and for driver license training and examinations, both maintained by the Executive Agency Road Transport Administration. Building up a new enforcement model based on risk assessment.

The project aims at ensuring interconnectivity among multiple registries and internal exchange of information while reducing the administrative burden for citizens and business. For this purpose, the registries maintained by RTA will be upgraded, incl. implementation of interfaces for automatic data export from internal and external systems/registries, reengineering work flows, implementation of electronic administrative services, incl. internal administrative services, and introduction of a new model of the control activities based on risk assessment. In relation to the control activity, there will be specialized equipment delivered for 80 vehicles of the agency. User manual instructions will be written for the upgraded registries and software and they will be uploaded to the agency's intranet, the staff working with registries and the control inspectors will receive training.
