Digitalization of the archives of the immovable cultural properties of world and national significance, building of specialized information system, electronic register and public portal

The national document archive of the National Institute of Immovable Cultural Heritage stores and maintain archive records containing documents for over 40 000 objects representing cultural properties from categories for information, of ensemble, local, national and world importance. The project envisages development and implementation of specialized information system (SIS) for the registration, collection, digitization, processing and storage of the national document archive of the National Institute of Immovable Cultural Heritage and creating an electronic public register of immovable cultural properties. The register will contain the necessary information and meta-data for the objects, including geo-spatial data for unique location. The register will have a part with an Internet portal providing access to public digital archive. The system will be used for digitalization on stages of the archives, as on Stage 1 from the road map "Priority projects for the period 2016-2017" the main priority will be the processing of documents for cultural properties of national and world significance and archaeological cultural properties of national importance. It is envisaged the implementation of e-government services for citizens and business and also internal-administrative e-services for realization of complex administrative service. The project will provide the necessary technical equipment for scanning large format documents, specialized workstations with specific functional purpose for registration, collection, digitization, processing and storage of documentations for objects of immovable cultural properties and the necessary hardware and software licenses including servers, disk array, UPS-es, switches, firewall and rack cabinet. The responsible institution for realization of the project is the Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the National Institute of Immovable Cultural Heritage.
