Creation, upgrading and consolidation of electronic registers of National center for information and documentation (NACID) in the field of higher education

At present, the registers in the field of higher education are decentralized, not interoperable, and some of them are not integrated with the environment for inter-register exchange, which does not allow automated data exchange for the purposes of complex administrative services. The following will be done within the project: 1. Consolidation of the Register of all current and discontinued students and doctoral students and the Register of all graduated students and doctoral students in an aggregate register of all current, discontinued and graduate students and doctoral students. 2. Establishment of a Register of issued certificates for visa "D" for long-term stay of third-country nationals admitted to study in Bulgarian Higher Education Institutions. 3. Upgrading the Register of Higher Education Institutions. The establishment/upgrading of the registers will ensure standardization of the data and official exchange of data electronically. It will be possible to generate statistical and reference information necessary for the planning and monitoring of strategies and policies in the field of science and education. The implementation of the project will significantly contribute to the development of one of the sectoral systems of e-government - e-science.
