The project envisages the implementation of a comprehensive national solution for the Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI) with EU Member States, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and UK. The focus will be on: - optimization of the institutional framework (competent institutions, competent authorities, liaison bodies and access points); - development and implementation of a national software solution for Exchange of Social Security Information; - establishment of a National Coordination Center under EESSI, which will take over the coordination of problems and corrections in the exchange (distribution of requests, resolving cases and elimination of business and technical problems). The design of the national solution will take into account the business processes for the exchange of information between the competent institutions at national level, the EU requirements and the specific requirements arising from the needs and available information resources in the individual institutions. Draft acts for amendment / supplementation of the legal framework in connection with the implementation of the national solution will be prepared, as well as a model for a national coordination center under EESSI, incl. defining its role, structure, functions and requirements in terms of technical and expert support. The software will be implemented in all competent administrations (NRA, NSSI, NHIF and ASA), and will provide an opportunity for additional configuration according to the specific back-office systems of the individual administrations. It will also be available to private pension insurance companies, in their capacity as competent institutions within EESSI. A centralized access point for the exchange of social security information will be installed and configured, and specialized software ensuring the operational activities of the national coordination center under EESSI will be provided.
