Administration and civil society – partnership in governance

The good governance is a basic principle of the modern administration. Broadening the society’s participation in governance is a main priority of all governments. The society already recognizes many of the principles of good governance as basic standards and the administration should take systematic actions to meet those expectations. The project encourages and validates the proactive role of the administration when envolving stakeholders in the decision-making process, introduction of new and attractive tools for civic participation and promoting interaction with stakeholders in the regulation of economic activity. The project promotes the collaboration between the administration and public in policy making and lawmaking. The main group of interventions under the project will be implemented by promoting online tools. The project envisages facilitating of information provision during the public consultations process and strengthening the dialogue between administration and civil society. The project will be implemented through sustainable and integrated approaches, based on study of good practices, capacity building, including "learning by doing" approach.
