Trainings for Bulgarian public servants for acquisition of key skills and competencies in the context of EU

This project is aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Bulgarian public servants for participation in the decision-making process of the European Union and fulfilling the responsibilities of Bulgaria to its EU membership. Therefore, for the fulfillment of this aim and the identified requisites for the enhancement of the EU knowledge of a wide circle of public servants, the project envisages the conduction of a series of specialized trainings on the topics of European Integration, traineeships and practices in EU member states and EU institutions. The focus of the trainings will be on enhancement of the administrative capacity and development of the practical skills, knowledge and competencies of the Bulgarian public servants who are involved in the fulfillment of the responsibilities of Bulgaria to its EU membership. In the context of fulfilling the aim for development of the Bulgarian Central Administration and enhancement of the specialized qualification of the public servants in the field of Coordination of the EU Policies, this project includes the following activities: 1. Conduction of Negotiation, Communication and Presentation skills trainings and issuing of learning materials; 2. Conduction of Traineeships in the EU institutions or the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria in Brussels; 3. Conduction of EU Terminology in English trainings; 4. Development and implementation of specialized programs and methods for the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute’s (BDI’s) training activities; 5. Trainings for enhancement of the administrative capacity of the BDI employees; 6. Information and communication.
