Improving the efficiency in work of experts in “Vocational qualification and licensing department" in NAVET by developing of specialized knowledge, skills and competencies

The main goal of the project proposal is improvement of specialized knowledge, skills and competences of the staff in “Vocational qualification and licensing department in NAVET”. The planned specialized courses will contribute to development of specific knowledge and competences of the staff in the department, which will help to realization of NAVET goals. The proposal has been developed on the base of in depth training needs analyses of the experts in department, who are engaged with accomplishment of specific responsibilities, fixed in Art 42 of Vocational education and training Act. Other very important factor is that from 2014 there are a number of legislative changes, which reflect on the different normative documents in the VET area. Important reason for need specialized courses is that in 2017 there were appointed three new chief experts and in the beginning of 2018 – two another, that means that 1/3 from the staff in the department is new. The planned trainings have key importance in dynamically changing environment in which works this department and will strengthen professional expertise of the team, needed for quality execution of the NAVET goals. The project proposal covers the main objective of the Good Governance Operational Programme, which vision is based on the understanding that strong, effective and transparent state institutions have a direct horizontal impact on achieving all objectives defined in the Europe 2020 Strategy. Two trainings, each with two modules will be organized in 12 months period. The topics will be connected to the development of State educational standards for professional qualification and effective control to the VET centers. The project includes also trainings for transfer of good practices and knowledge from experienced employees to the newcomers.
