Improvement of the specialized knowledge and skills of the staff of the National Centre for Information and Documentation

The present project is aimed at improving the specialized knowledge and skills of NACID employees by conducting 8 trainings related to the fulfillment of their specific functions and duties within the services provided by the Center. The National Center for Information and Documentation (NACID) is a legal person funded by the Government budget and is a second tier spender of budget funds under the Minister of Education and Science. The main activities that the Center carries out are: the functions of NARIK Center for Bulgaria; recognition of acquired higher education diploma abroad; issuing of certificates for acquired professional qualification in the non-regulated professions on the territory of Republic of Bulgaria for work abroad; issuing a certificate APOSTILLE; keeping and maintaining the Register for the Scientific Activities; maintaining an information database of regulated professions; providing bibliographic and analytical information in the fields of education, science and innovation; development and dissemination of information products such as “Pedagogicum”, “INFO World”, “Advances in Bulgarian Science” etc.; provision of electronic administrative services; maintaining a database "Defended Doctoral theses and persons in academic positions"; collecting, storing, processing and placing at everyone’s disposal of scientific and technical literature and information, etc. In relation to these main activities, 8 specialized trainings will be organized, which will be in the field of expertise of documents for authenticity, digitization of editions, extraction of information from specialized databases, cataloging of publications, copyright for electronic content, design and management of scientific and academic internet editions. Of all training only 3 will be out of the city, which is the place of work and the remaining 5 will be held in Sofia. For each training, a certificate is foreseen to be received by all learners.
