Specialised trainings to enhance the professional competence of RACFC`s employees

The project aims to improve the knowledge and specialised skills of employees in the Risk Assessment Center on Food Chain, which fully supports the achievement of the main objective of the Programme's procedure to improve the specialised knowledge and skills of the employees in the administration. The project envisages conducting of specialised trainings in relation to the specific needs of certain groups of RACFC's employees with specific responsibilities in the field of risk assessment on food chain. Specialised trainings will be focused on three main areas - veterinary medicine, plant protection and food technology. The topics of the trainings are directly related to the functions of the employees in the structure of the RACFC. The methodology of the project envisages to utilise the experience of leading training organisations in Bulgaria in the implementation of the trainings, as well as the transfer of experience and good practices among the RACFC's employees. The trainings within the project aim at improving the specialised knowledge and skills of the RACFC's employees, according to the specifics and needs in regard to their responsibilities, which will respectively contribute to higher effectiveness in the work process as well as to a better efficiency of the RACFC's activities in the field of risk assessment on food chain at national and international level. The project will increase the capacity of RACFC's employees who will gain up-to-date knowledge and skills on different risk assessment methods in regard to the food chain. This will have a positive impact on the capacity of the Center as a whole, leading to an increase in the efficiency and quality of the RACFC's overall activity.
