Good governance and implementation in the administration is closely related to the professionalism of employees, which requires targeted investment to improve their specialized knowledge and skills.The Strategy for Development of the State Administration 2014-2020 highlights four main strategic objectives, among which the strategic objective "Professional and Expert Management", which is reflected in the Operational Programme "Good Governance" by setting targets for the development of alternative forms of training, and an increased number of staff in the administration who have passed training to improve their qualification in the relevant year by 20%.The present project proposal "Improvement of the specialized knowledge and skills of the road transport control officers and the employees exercising control over this activity in the Executive Agency "Road transport administration" includes activities related to the improvement of the professional competence of the road transport control officers for more efficient enforcement of the obligations on road transport control, traffic safety and environmental protection. Within the project will be held specialized training for 150 employees - road transport control officers and employees exercising control over this activity. The training topics are related to the application of the standards for the strengthening of cargoes, amendments to ADR 2015 and ADR 2017 and amendments to national legislation, Ordinance No 40 on the terms and conditions for carrying out the transport of dangerous goods by road and their implementation in the road control.Bearing in mind the public importance of the problems of ensuring safe transport, it is necessary to continuously improve the knowledge, skills and competencies of the inspectors and the staff carrying out the control of this activity by the Executive Agency "Road transport administration"
