The current project proposal "Improvement of the specialized knowledge and skills of the employees of the DirectorateGeneral" Civil Aviation Administration " envisages activities related to the Improvement of the specialized knowledge and skills and the improvement of the professional competence of the personnel exercising control functions for ensuring safety in civil aviation in order to timely identify risk factors, dissemination of information and actions for implementation of the safety monitoring system. 11 trainings were held in which 66 employees will be involved. Some of the employees will take part in various trainings. The successful trainees will receive certificates. Maintenance of the qualifications of the inspectors is the responsibility of the DG CAA imposed by the requirements of the international conventions and European regulations. For each employee, a personal file certifying the degree of competences and stage of training completed. This project will ensure the implementation of the National Safety Program of the Republic of Bulgaria (BGSSP), which main aim is the management of civil aviation safety and the implementation of the standards described in the annexes of the Chicago Convention and the EASA Regulations.
