Increasing the capacity of the Executive Forest Agency for implementation of the forest management control functions

The state policy in the field of forestry is implem. by the minister of agriculture, foods and forests through the EFA.Through organizing 3 spec. trainnings, the current project will directly support the implement. of the following functions of the EFA in line with art.156 of the Forests Act: 3.organizes the development and controls the implement. of the regional plans for development of forest territories;11.controls the implement. of the Act and exercises general supervision and methodological guidance on the activities of all bodies and persons assigned to it;14.coordinates and controls forest protection and conservation, forest seed control, research and engineering activities.The topic of the 1st training is “Development and implem. of the regional plans for developm. of forest territories”.The target group of the training consists of 13 empl. of “Forests and forestry activities” Dir.,2 empl. of “Protection of forests” Dir.,and 1 empl. of “Changes in forest territories” Dir.16 empl. of EFA will be trained.The topic of the 2th training is “Modern, environmentally friendly methods of forest management”.The target group of the training consists of 20 empl. of “Forests and forestry activities” Dir.,6 empl. of “Protection of forests” Dir.,4 empl. of “Projects and international activities” Dir. and 3 empl. of “Hunting” Directorate. 33 empl. of EFA will be trained.The topic of the 3rd training is “Implement. of Regulation(EC) №995/2010 of the EP and the Council of 20.10.2010”.The target group of the training consists 27 empl. from the spec. directorates of EFA, which according to the Rules of Procedures of EFA, art.16( Decree of the Coincil of Ministers №73/20.06.2011, publ. in State Gazette, №49/28.06.2011, amended in SG №48/26.06.2012, in force from 26.06.2012, amended in SG №91/18.10.2013, in force from 18.10.2013, amended in SG №29/21.04.2015, in force from 21.04.2015, amended in SG №66/10.08.2018, in force from 10.08.2018) are 6. 27 empl. of EFA will be trained.
