EXECUTIVE AGENCY FOR TRANSPLANTATION - COMPETENT AND EFFECTIVE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Main goal: ■ The main goal of this proposal is the improvement of the specialised knowledge and skills of the employees of the Executive Agency for Transplantation (EAT) The main goal will be achieved through the execution of the following specific goals: Specific goal 1. Improvement of the specialised knowledge and skills of EAT employees through the organisation and conduct of specialised training courses directly related to the specific activity of the EAT as follows: - Recommendations and regulations in the field of tissue and cells transplantation - Process of donation of tissues and cells and their application in humans - Donation of tissues and cells - Tissue banks, biobanks and tissue establishments - Haematopoietic progenitor cells - Assisted reproductive technology - General considerations for cell-based therapies Specific goal 2. Increasing the institutional capacity and efficiency of the EAT and achieving better control and management The specific goals aim to solve specific problems of the target groups – to complement the budged-funded training courses, thus providing an opportunity for a much greater number of employees at any level of the EAT administration to receive training corresponding to their competence and training needs The implementation of this project proposal will improve the specialised knowledge and skills of the employees of the EAT through the conduct of specialized training courses directly corresponding to the goals of this procedure Main outcomes: ■ Improvement of the specialized knowledge and skills of EAT employees ■ The organisation and successful conduct of five specialized training courses directly related to the specific activity of the EAT ■ Increased capacity of EAT employees ■ Competent and effective public administration through management and development of HR ■ Modernisation of working procedures in the EAT ■ Increasing consumer satisfaction though the provision of quality services
