Strnghtening the capacity of the Commission for countering corruption and illegal assets forfeiture (CCCIAF) for prevention and detection of corruption offenses by senior officials, management and protection of collateral assets and procedures for transparency and protection of witnesses and alerts.

Within the framework of the current project, three trainings for increasing the specialized skills of the staff members of the CCCIAF will be carried out. Activity 1 of the project provides for the training of 45 Commission staff on "Investigation of Corrupt Crimes by High Officials". Within the framework of Activity 2, training will be carried out on the subject of "Collateralized Assets - Management and Conservation" for 45 employees of the Commission. Activity 3 of the project envisages training on "Protection and Transparency". The topics of the training are directly related to the functions and powers of the CCCIAF envisaged in the Law, especially in Article 4, Article 16, Article 82, Article 83, Article 114, and Chapters 12 and 13 of the Law. The project duration is envisaged to be 18 months and its budget - BGN 161 289.
