Citizens together with the local authorities for creating a better social environment at local level

The main objective of the project is to: Increase civil participation in the process of forming and controlling the implementation of local policies in partnership with civil society and business on the territory of Stambolovo municipality. Activities: - A study on Civil participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies for providing social services in the conditions of depopulation of the small settlements and aging of the population (Gr.1) - Analysis of the legal framework in Bulgaria regulating the provision of social services at municipal level (1) - Surveys of European practices and innovative solutions related to improving civil participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies (1) - Intermediate evaluation of the Municipal Strategy for Development of social services in Stambolovo municipality (1) - Development of mechanisms and tools for feedback and evaluation by citizens and business in direct relations with the municipal administration (2). - Development of Methodology for improving civil participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of social services at local level (1). Transferring good practices and innovative solutions to Stambolovo municipality, related to civil participation in the formation and implementation of local policies (3) - Conducting trainings for NGOs representativeson on the subject: Forms of civil participation in the process of formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies for capacity building (3). - Information campaign on "Raising public awareness on the opportunities for civil participation in the processes of policy making, implementation and monitoring on legislation" (4). - Conference of representatives of the NGO sector, the business and the municipality: Participation of citizens and businesses in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies (4).
