Utilizing local economic, natural and cultural resources in an effective manner - a result of a successful collaboration between municipality's best practices, business and civil society.

The territories of Plovdiv region and Smolyan region are extremely rich in natural, cultural, historical and economic resources. To improve the socialization of cultural and historical heritage and the economic benefits of the richness of unique and authentic traditional crafts and productions, it is of prime importance to apply modern and adequate policies and a regulatory environment to encourage local entrepreneurs formed on a broad democratic basis. To this end, a clear and accurate picture of the policies needed by entrepreneurs to influence their work at European, national, regional and municipal level and the relevant administrations responsible for their implementation will be created through the project activities. The developed Roadmap and Database will serve to orientate and optimize the interactions between NGOs, business associations and EPAs with authorities and administrations at different territorial and administrative levels. Emphasis will be placed on developing digital mechanisms, involving empowering businesses to make policy decisions in line with innovative e-government solutions and the modern digital business environment. Analysis and assessments of good governance and optimal regulatory environment will be widely publicized through new social digital media and public mobile applications. The three electronic self-learning modules in the relevant sectoral economic policies respond to the needs of the members of the partners (NGO Bio-B-Eco and the Regional Crafts Chamber Plovdiv) and they will increase the member's capacity to support local entrepreneurship. The analyzes, conclusions and recommendations made will be deposited with the Ministry of Culture, the district administrations of Smolyan region and Plovdiv region and disseminated in the local offices of the state and municipal administrations in accordance with the received letters of support.
