SPORT - Enhancing the Input of the Non-governmental Sport Organizations in Implementation of the Policies for Integration in Society of Roma and Migrants via Sport

Both Candidate and Partner will carry out a profound research of the obstacles and challenges before the integration of the vulnerable multicultural groups and migrants in the Bulgarian society by investigating the points of view of the Roma and of the immigrants on the one hand, and the opinion of the citizens, on the other. On the basis of the structured data, gathered , the Candidate and the Partner will prepare an analysis of the basic challenges of the integration of the vulnerable groups and of the specific features of the integration processes of the Roma and of the immigrants, taking into account the disintegration factors for these groups. As a result of the conclusions from the analysis the Candidate and the Partner will prepare 6 tailored recommendations for better integration into society of Roma and immigrants, which will be submitted to the competent authorities and legislative bodies. The recommendation will be thematically targeted in two directions: • Integration of Roma grouos • Integration of immigrants Concerning Roma population the recommendations is planned to be directed to more active usage of sport initiatives for their incorporation into society. Concerning the immigrants the recommendations will be targeted to organization of sport initiatives in the refugee camps and fostering their participation in regional and national sport initiatives, aiming facilitation of their integration in the Bulgarian society. On the basis of the analysis the Candidate and the Partner will develop a mechanism for more efficient use of sport as a tool for integration of the marginalized Roma and of the immigrants. With the support of the Partner the Candidate will carry out an information and communication campaign with national coverage, aimed at presentation of the designed mechanism and at popularization of sport as a tool for integration. The campaign will consist of 6 discussion forums, organized in the 6 planning regions in Bulgaria.
