Interaction between the structures of the civic society and the local administration in formulating, implementing and disseminating policies targeting the increase in competitiveness and entrepreneurship in the Tsarevo municipality

The project aims to increase the civic participation and to enhance the interaction between the administration(Admin) and the civic society(CS)in the process of formulation,implementation and dissemination of local policies that target an increase in competitiveness and entrepreneurship(Camp;E) in the Tsarevo municipality(TM).The specific goals are-Open and responsible government through increasing the interaction between the Admin and the citizens during the assessment and monitoring of the implementation of policies that target an increase in Camp;E in the TM;Developing recommendations that aim to enhance the processes during the formulating,implement and dissem policies targeting the increase in Camp;E in the TM,and the identification and inclusion of stakeholders and CS in these processes and enhancing the partnership between civic organizations and government through increasing the civic activity and civic engagement in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies targeting the increase in Camp;E in the TM by the development of a comprehensive feedback and citizens’ input instrument for evaluation of the interactions of the society and the Admin.The project aims to achieve the following results-Analysis-evaluation with recommendations on the implementation of the Tsarevo’s local development plan for 14-20 with an emphasis on Camp;E; Analysis with recommendations on the methods and models of civic participation in the Tsarevo’s local development plan a Handbook of civic activism and a Memorandum.These are produced as a result of an analysis-evalation of the implementation of Tsarevo’s local development plan with an emphasis on Camp;E,incl.recommendations;analysis-evaluation of the methods and models of civic participation;Developing of a feedback and citizens’ input instrument for evaluation of the interactions of the society and the Admin in the local policy process;Enhancing the interactions between the Admin and the NGO sector.
