District Administration - Ruse through the eyes of Civil Society

The project "District administration - Ruse through the eyes of the civil society" will be implemented by the Open Society Club - Ruse Association in partnership with the District Administration - Ruse. The project aims to improve the monitoring and evaluation of the policies implemented by the District Administration - Ruse, as well as to create opportunities for increased participation of the civil society in governance. The project objectives correspond to Strategic Objective 2 of the OP "Good Governance" - "Partnership with Citizens and Business" and Strategic Objective 3 "Open and Responsible Governance". The project is related to studies, analyzes and recommendations for the work of the District Administration - Ruse, good European practices, a model related to improving civic participation in policy formulation and implementation processes, civil monitoring on the actions of the administration, increased capacity of the regional administration employees, a broad information campaign to disseminate the results. The target group of the project is: the employees from the District administration, NGOs, business organizations, municipal administrations, citizens. The activities will contribute to: Enhancing the interaction between the administration and the citizens; analysis of opinions and recommendations of citizens, NGOs and business and local authorities on the work of the District Administration - Ruse; studied attitudes of the District Administration's employees to improve the dialogue with citizens; a model developed to improve civic participation in policy-making at district level, improving the work of the administration; improved the public image of the District Administration - Ruse.
