Civic monitoring over the process of formulating and control over the implementation of State’s Youth policies for the 2010 – 2020 period

The project’s main goal is to raise the level of civic participation in the implementation of youth policies for healthy way of life through enhancing the partnership between the government,the business and the citizens by raising the civic activity during the formulation, implementation and monitoring of healthy way of life youth policies; enhancing open and responsible government through the development in a partnership,of a comprehensive feedback and citizens’ input instrument for evaluation of the interactions of the citizens and the administration and developing recommendations for improving the process.These goals will be achieved through the activities that will produce the respective results/products:Analysis-evaluation with recommendations on the implementation of Priority 3“Enhancing Healthy Way of Life”in relation to prevention of the factors that create risks for the youth health described within the“National Youth Strategy2010-2020”that incorporates guidelines for the implementation of the recommendations;Analysis with recommendations on the methods and models of civic participation in the formulation,implementation and monitoring of the“National Youth Strategy2010-2020”and guidelines for the implementation of the recommendations;Developing of a comprehensive feedback and citizens’ input instrument for evaluation of the interactions of the society and the administration in the formulation,implementation and monitoring of youth policies;Joint discussion and adoption of the recommendations for the future implementation of the national youth policy between the administration and the NGOs and activities that aim to raise civic awareness and encourage civic participation in the youth policies.As a result of the project the target groups will be equipped with a Handbook of civic activism and a Memorandum and the developed recommendations, on the base of the developed within the project analyses that are discussed with the relevant decision-makers.
