Raising civic participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation in the field of national memory

The project proposal includes a combination of four activities to achieve the project objectives, namely: 1. Develop a study and analysis of policies and practices related to the EU award system: honorary signs, orders and metals 2. Development of mechanisms and tools for the upgrade of legislation related to the award system 3. Joint activities between NGOs and the administration for the implementation of good practice and an innovative solution for promoting the recognition of the award system 4. Raising the public awareness and promoting civic participation in the development of public relationships related to orders and medals As a result of the implementation of the project, two recommendations will be developed for the implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation related to the Bulgarian award system. They will affect the implementation of the policy related to the implementation of the Law on Order and Medals of the Republic of Bulgaria and the drafting of legislative proposals for its development and approximation to the civil society.
