Increasing civil participation in the processes of drafting, implementation and monitoring of anti-corruption policies and legislation in Bulgaria regarding the work of the newly established in 2018 government Commission for Counteracting Corruption and Illegal Assets Forfeiture (CCCIAF)

The project proposal is aimed at: Increasing civil participation in the processes of drafting, implementation and monitoring of anti-corruption policies and legislation in Bulgaria regarding the work of the newly established in 2018 government Commission for Counteracting Corruption and Illegal Assets Forfeiture (CCCIAF), with the following prerequisites for its successful implementation: 1) The Candidate has signed the MEMORANDUM FOR COOPERATION WITH CCCIAF in September 2018, which explicitly states the intention of the Commission for work and partnership with FORUM Association on all issues concerning joint actions in the field of anti-corruption. 2) Since September 2018, the Association is chairing of the Civil Council with the Supreme Judicial Council of Republic of Bulgaria for a third consecutive mandate and its member and founder since the beginning of 2013. At present, the Council consists of 20 actively operating NGOs and professional organizations. 3) The Association has independently implemented more than 25 EU projects and other major donors, mainly in the area of ​​judicial reform, anti-corruption and good governance since 2007, when it was established by the members of the major projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Bulgaria. The project activities are grouped around the main processes necessary to achieve the project goals and are combined by the applicant according to the logic of the interventions under the project proposal. Activities of all 4 groups are included, the results of which refer directly to the 3 specific aims of the procedure listed in the Guidelines. Target groups are: 1) NGO sector in Bulgaria, working or potentially working on anti-corruption 2) Commission for Counteracting Corruption and Illegal Assets Forfeiture (CCCIAF) - a state body established by a legal act, as well as its employees 3) the citizens / broad public, through the mediation of media 4) the business
