Partnership for a New Revival in Demographic Aspects

One of the biggest problems facing Bulgaria is the emerging lasting tendency of aging population in the country. Demographic changes, along with globalization and the advancement of information technologies, are at the heart of shaping a new social reality faced by the societies of Europe and the European Union. We are witnessing a process of increasing the elderly and reducing the share of children and young people.All this reflects on the sustainable development of society and makes the transitions from one life cycle to another more complex. As an acute problem in the demographic development of the population of the Republic of Bulgaria, the continuing aging process of the population is emerging. The social reality facing Bulgaria requires the mobilization of the efforts of ministries, state agencies, municipal authorities, social partners, scientific institutions and civil organizations. It is through the implementation of the present project proposal that the demographic development in Bulgaria is improved by increasing the interaction between the administration, the citizens and the business. For realization the main goal will be the following activities: development of analysis - evaluation of the results of implementation of programs and policies for development of policies for improvement of demographic problems; issuing a manual; holding round tables and conducting a broad information campaign.
