The project aims at building a comprehensive mechanism for continuous dialogue in the ongoing local tourism development policy, taking into account adequately the interests of the different stakeholders. Target groups: municipal administrations, Tourism Advisory Council, civil society, businesses and citizens of municipalities Berkovitsa and Godech. Activities: 1. Conducting research and analysis on: state and mechanisms of civic participation in the policy pursued; stakeholder analysis on the Berkovitsa and Godech municipalities and their willingness to participate in the decision-making processes; the activity of the responsible units of the administration and the Advisory Council on Tourism; good practices in Bulgaria in implemented local policies; 2. Develop a model for citizen participation with specific recommendations. 3. Development of a civil monitoring mechanism based on information technology. 4. Exchange and transfer of good practices for partner management. 5. Organizing and conducting information meetings, working groups, public discussions and a conference. Expected results: Increased interaction between municipal administrations and citizens: Developed a holistic approach to increase civic participation through: 1 st. analysis and study, prepared model for civic participation, produced 4 pcs. recommendations; Increased NGO activity in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies: mechanism for civil monitoring of the local tourism policy (2 websites), presented good practices, increased institutional capacity of the applicant and the partners conducted 10 information activities.
