Civil Society with New Responsibilities for Young People - Innovative Models for Youth Policy is an innovative project aimed primarily at youth organizations - one of the target groups of this "Enhancing citizen participation in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation" procedure. The theme of young people's participation in public life at both local and national level is essential for the country, mainly for several reasons. Young people are "valuable capital," they represent the future of every country. Their activity and participation in public life is crucial - their interests, views, opinions should be presented and taken into account in the formulation of public policies and decision-making. Youth participation is one of the preconditions for strengthening democracy and social cohesion, ensuring good governance and ensuring political stability. The implementation of the project proposal will ensure: • Raising their civic activity; • Attracting the attention of local authorities to the problems of young people; • Development of policies and planning documents serving the partnership in the future. The problem of employment and the realization of young people from small municipalities is central to the proposal. The subject of this project proposal is the new models and innovations of interaction of civil society and municipal administration in the field of youth policy and the common goal. To create and develop a model of "Partnership management of the municipal administration with the civic organizations". Raise NGO activity in formulating local policies by making recommendations to the executive for joint initiatives. Improve the socio-economic environment. The project is being implemented by two public benefit NGOs "Youth Association VERDIKO" (coordinator) and "Southwest initiative" (partner). Budget: BGN 89,930.39
