Partnership in managing and improving the interaction between the municipal administration Lovech, civil society and business

In general, the project aims to create conditions for improving the citizen participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies in the municipality of Lovech. The formulated sub-objectives in the project are aimed at: 1. Creation of mechanisms and implementation of partnership management practices and enhancement of the interaction between the administration, the citizens and the business in the municipality of Lovech; 2. Increasing the activity of NGOs and other stakeholders in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies in the municipality of Lovech; 3. Defining recommendations for the Lovech municipal administration to improve service delivery processes, better the regulatory environment, to observe ethical norms, to create conditions for open and responsible management and to improve the environment for citizen participation in the management process. The target groups include the municipal administration of Lovech and its employees; NGOs working on the territory of Lovech municipality; Business organizations located in Lovech municipality; The community in Lovech municipality. Overall, the expected results are limited to creating an environment for increasing the interaction between the administration and the citizens and the business, and thus activating the participation of non-governmental organizations in formulating, implementing and monitoring policies and improving the regulatory environment. All this contributes to more open and responsible management in the municipality of Lovech, which in the long run will lead to improvement of the socio-economic environment in the municipality. The project plans activities that will develop and implement mechanisms and practices aimed at improving the interaction between the administration, citizens and business in the municipality of Lovech and will help to achieve democratic and partnership management.
