Partnership of citizens with institutions on local, regional and national level to create sustainable policies in the field of radio-ecology and radiation protection of the health of the population.

The project is aimed at all stakeholders - the public, the municipal administration, state bodies such as the Ministry of Education and Science, MoEW, MoE, MH, NRA, EEA, civil protection structures, Parliamentary groups - education and healthcare, employers, NGOs, specialists , journalists, responding to the need to step up the public authorities' partnership with the citizens and their associations in the field of radio-ecology and radiation protection of the population. The project aims to identify approaches for the participation of citizens and specialists in the implementation of public awareness and education policies in the field of radio-ecology and radiation protection of the population. Studies and analyzes of citizens' awareness on issues related to radiological knowledge, good practices on interaction between civil society and state institutions in other areas and in other countries with more experience will be conducted. A broad information campaign (internet forum, round tables, discussions, conference, information brochures and multimedia product) will be held with stakeholder representatives. This should enhance the involvement of different groups and individuals in different organizational forms, both non-specialists and experts, in the process of making, making and realizing decisions, which is crucial for the accumulation of social capital and civil activity subsequently. On the basis of the results obtained, recommendations will be made and sent to the public authorities to form awareness-raising policies, education, participation of decision-makers in the field of radiology and radiation protection of the population. The expected result is to improve the quality of the work of the public administration structures and also to help to build in the civil society an adequate perceptions on the impact of the natural and artificial radioactive sources on the people.
