Citizens for better education

The project aims at development of capacity of key stakeholders in implementation of education and training policies, in the design and conducting of actions for awareness raising about the generated positive impact of education and training policies in the country on individual peoples’ life, regional economic and social development. The following activities will be implemented: 1. Elaboration of Guide for civilian participation in development, implementation and monitoring of education and training policies. The education and training policies assessment guide is intended to support key stakeholders (regional authorities, education and training providers, trade unions, employers’ organizations, SMEs, citizens of different age) engaged in the education and training process. The results of education and training policies impact assessment will provide reliable basis for identification of successful practices and problems related to measures implementation. 2. Analysis and recommendations concerning education and training policies at regional level and active civilian participation in the process of their development, implementation and monitoring Analysis and recommendations about education and training policies will cover three sectors – school education, vocational education and training and adult education in 5 regions – Pernik, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratza and Stara Zagora. 3. Conducting of consultations in 5 regions in the country. Participants in the consultations will be representatives of key regional stakeholders. The aim is to present the results of analyses, developed recommendations and to collect feedback for their improvement. 4. Conducting of training workshops in 5 regions in the country. In the workshops representatives of key regional stakeholders will be involved. The aim is to develop their capacity for development, implementation and monitoring of the education and training policies.
