Enhancing civic participation in local policies

The need to be met through the implementation of the project is to actively involve citizens in the process of formulating, implementing and monitoring local policies for sustainable local development and attracting investment in the municipality of Pavlikeni. The project envisages a set of activities whose sequence is selected so as to ensure the achievement of the objectives, results and indicators set in the project. Main activities: 1. Development of analyzes related to the improvement of the civic participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies for sustainable local development and attracting investments in the municipality of Pavlikeni. 2. Evaluate and make recommendations for improving citizen participation in policy formulation, implementation and monitoring processes; 3. Development of a feedback mechanism and implementation of civil monitoring and control over the actions of the administration; 4. Conducting training related to improving citizen participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies for sustainable local development and attracting investments 5. Raise public awareness and promote civic participation in local policies Successful implementation of the project will contribute to improving the process of formulating, implementing and monitoring local policies and creating the conditions for open and responsible governance. Expected results: 1. Improving the interaction between the administration, the citizens and the business. 2. Increase the civic sector's activity in formulating, implementing and monitoring policies. 3. Improving the socio-economic environment as a result of more open and responsible governance.
