Effective interaction between civil society and local government to achieve better governance of Varshets Municipality

The project is aimed at strengthening the interaction of civil society and local authorities in Varshets Municipality by developing and implementing effective mechanisms for creating good, fair and transparent management for the benefit of the citizens. Within the framework of the project, a set of activities is envisaged, the sequence of which is selected so as to ensure the achievement of the objectives, results and indicators set in the project. The following activities planned within the project are: 1. Development of analyzes related to the improvement of the civic participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies; 2. Evaluate and make recommendations for improving citizen participation in the processes of policy formulation and implementation and monitoring; 3. Development of a mechanism and tools for feedback and evaluation by citizens and business on their relations with the administration; 4. Conducting training for the applicant's representatives, related to the improvement of the civic participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation; 5. Raise public awareness and promote civic participation in the processes of formulating, implementing and monitoring policies and legislation. Through the implementation of the activities envisaged under the project, civil participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of local policies in the municipality of Varshets will be enhanced. The successful implementation of the project will contribute to improving the dialogue between the local authorities and the citizens, incl. NGOs and business, recommendations and recommendations will be developed to improve the process of formulating, implementing and monitoring local policies and creating the conditions for open and responsible governance.
