"The current Bulgarian legislation and praxis of its application in the field of early childhood development in the context of the" Recommendation of the Council of the EU for high quality systems for education and care in early childhood "

The project proposal is being performed together by the Foundation "Institute for Sustainable Development of Law" and “For Our Children” Foundation. Its main purpose is to contribute the increase of civil participation in the process of embodiment and monitoring the implementation of early childhood policies and legislation. As a result of the implementation of the project activities, it is expected that an analysis will be developed for the purposes of improvement of the civil participation in the processes of formulation and implementation of early childhood policies and legislation (Action 1); to evaluate the existing legislation, to formulate proposals to modify the legal framework and to make recommendations on the improving civil participation in policy and law-making processes (Action 2); to develop a civil monitoring toolkit on state actions, policies and legislation in the field of early childhood development and to conduct an empirical study (Action 3), and to initiate joint actions between civil society and civil society actors and the state administration through holding 1 Workshop - a seminar to reveal new perspectives and to upgrade the qualification of administration officials and defined target groups and one round table (Action 4 and Action 5). As a result of the implementation of the project activities, the policies and the legislative process in the field of early child development are expected to be more influenced by the representatives of the civil society.
