Improvement of the Concessions Policy

With the project will be fulfilled 2 (two) main activities: Activity 1 "Preparation of an analysis of Bulgarian and European practices in the field of natural resources (underground natural resources) and of concept for possible solutions for improvement of concession policy for underground natural resources" in the Republic of Bulgaria. The results of this activity will create preconditions for improving concession policy in the field of underground natural resources. Activity 2 "Building a centralized electronic information system "National Concessions Register" (CEIS NCR) with the possibility of analytical consultations in support of the strategic development, monitoring and implementation of concessions. The system will replace the existing NCR and provide the opportunity to select information and generate analytical reports. New functionalities will be built up for the needs of the management, monitoring and control of the concession activity. The database will be formed electronically. Each of the two activities will be executed by an external contractor and by three, different for each activity, experts from the Council of Ministers’ Administration.
