Improving the professional competence of the employees of the territorial structures of the NRA by conducting specialized training in the application of National Accounting Standards

This project envisages the training of 190 employees of the territorial directorates of the NRA and the Appeals and Tax and Social Security Practice Directorates in order to improve their knowledge and skills in applying the National Accounting Standards. The higher qualification of the NRA employees in the field of accounting standards will minimize the amount of the inaccuracies and flaws, result of gaps in the knowledge in the activities carried out , which is an essential factor for Improving the effectiveness of the control bodies in the NRA. Target group of the current project are employees from the Control Directorates in the Territorial Directorates of the NRA and staff from the Appeals and Tax and Social Security Practice Directorates, determined on the basis of the nature of their work, namely inspections, revisions, the methodology applied in implementation of the inspections and revisions, as well as appeals and legal representation. Improvement and acquiring new knowledge and skills specific for the qualification of the employees is a priority for the Agency. The high standard of information and the relevant knowledge will contribute to the proper organization of the work process of the conducted control activities by the employees of the territorial structures of the NRA and the Appeals and Tax and Social Security Practice Directorates.
