Specialized trainings for employees in the territorial units of Executive Agency “Maritime Administration”

Executive Agency „Maritime Administration” (EAMA) is a legal entity on budget support to the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications with headquarters in Sofia. The territorial jurisdiction of the Agency is exercised trough its regional directorates in Varna, Burgas, Ruse and Lom and includes activities related to ports, safety and security of shipping and protection of the environment from pollution from ships. The Agency carries out search and rescue activities in the Bulgarian maritime responsible search and rescue region (BMRSRR) and in the inland waterways of the Republic of Bulgaria trough “Emergency and Rescue Activity" Directorate General with territorial units in Varna, Burgas and Ruse. In relation to the territorial distribution of EAMA’s functions, the project implementation will be structured in three activities: - Activity 1: Organization and conduction of 15 specialized trainings for employees of “Maritime Administration - Varna” Directorate and “Search and Rescue Activity” General Directorate – unit “Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre” – Varna and unit “Rescue Crafts – Black Sea” – Varna”; - Activity 2: Organization and conduction of 14 specialized trainings for employees of “Maritime Administration - Burgas” Directorate and “Search and Rescue Activity” General Directorate - unit “Rescue Crafts – Black Sea” – Burgas; - Activity 3: Organization and conduction of 6 specialized trainings for employees of “River supervision - Ruse” Directorate, “River supervision - Lom” Directorate and “Search and Rescue Activity” General Directorate – unit “Search and Rescue Activity – Danube river”.
