Upgrading the qualification of the staff of the Consumer Protection Commission Regional Directorates by acquiring new knowledge and upgrading consumer protection skills

This project proposal is fully aimed at improving the specialized knowledge and skills of the employees in the six regional directorates of the Directorate-General for Market Control at the Commission for Consumer Protection. The project proposal includes four thematic areas within which to train all employees of the regional directorates, as the identified topics are extremely relevant and necessary for the quality performance of the duties of CPC employees. The Regional Directorates of the CPC have defined in Art. 13 of the Rules of Procedure of the CPC. Their functions are evident from Art. 16, para. 2 of the CP of the CPC as they are related to the implementation of the control functions of the CPC under a number of laws.The identified thematic areas of training are the following: Thematic area No. 1. Application of the Consumer Credit Act, including practices resulting from the ongoing process of digitalization of financial services. Thematic line No. 2. Good European and national practices of the control bodies under the Consumer Protection Act related to off-premises contracts.Thematic line No. 3. The implementation of Regulation No 2006/2004 and the new amendments to Regulation 2017/2394 in this number and activity of the CPC as a single liaison office under the Regulation. Thematic strand No. 4. Legislative regulation of trade in tobacco and related products.
