Improvement of the professional competences of the employees in the territorial units of the General Directorate "Execution of Sentences" through the implementation of specialized trainings to get acquainted with new successfully introduced foreign practices in the field of social activity and educational work with offenders (GDIN - 4)

This project proposal includes the provision of specialized trainings for 2 target groups: senior staff inspectors social activities and educational work in prisons and Heads of Sector "Social activities and educational work" (SAEW) in prisons. They exercise methodological guidance and control over the inspectors social activities and educational work in prisons and prison dormitories, whose main purpose is to correct and re-socialize prisoners with a view to integrating them with the values ​​of society and the lawful way of life. They are responsible for implementing the recommendations of international standards that guarantee the legal and social status of prisoners. They prepare analyzes and develop strategies for deploying social and educational activities with offenders. Considering the main functions of the management staff responsible for the social activities in prisons, it is necessary for this category of employees to know the good and successfully introduced foreign practices in the field of social activity and educational work with offenders. In accordance with these functions and activities, within this project proposal, 1 specialized training will be conducted for the two target groups to get acquainted with new successfully introduced foreign practices in the field of social activity and educational work with offenders. The training will be attended by 45 staff from the territorial units of the General Directorate "Execution of Sentences". The individual group courses will be carried out outside the settlement - outside of the place of employment. At the end of the course, all students will receive a certificate for the specialized training.
