This project proposal "Specialized training of the Inspectorate on control devices for recording traffic data for road transport" envisages the provision of specialized training to 140 cohabitants of the territorial units of the Automobile Administration Executive Agency. By Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018 / Commission Regulation (EC) No 502 of 28 February 2018 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/799 as regards the laying down of requirements for construction, testing, installation, exp the maintenance and repair of tachographs and their components have been introduced as of June 15, 2019, for all new trucks and buses to be equipped with a new generation of smart tachographs. In order to maintain a high level of professionalism and efficiency of the control activity, a new periodic training of the inspection staff will be held on the principles of operation, challenges, features and possible manipulations of the new smart tachographs. The implementation of this project will lead to the improvement of the specialized knowledge and skills of the inspectors and will contribute to the improvement of road safety.
