Mental health in the workplace - prevention policies at the local level

The implementation of this project will support the effective dialogue for open and responsible partnership management regarding the policies for the prevention of mental health at work, as well as will help to establish the impact of emotional intelligence on mental health in municipalities in Bulgaria and local businesses. practice. The project will be implemented by the expert team of the EU-EU ENTREPRENEURS FOUNDATION and will be involved representatives with whom talks have already been held on the topic - units of municipal administrations related to human resources and human capital management, small and medium enterprises at the local level, experts at the National Center for Public Health and Analysis, psychologists and experts at the Institute of Psychology of the Ministry of Interior, experts from other NGOs and our foreign partners, journalists. Four main implementation activities are envisaged, which will be implemented through the formation of a qualified and expert joint team, which will conduct a study of existing active policies for the prevention of mental health at work at the European level, as well as conduct specialized workshops to promote the development of the emotional intelligence of the municipal employees in three Bulgarian municipalities. A report will be prepared for each of the main activities related to the research, and the information activity to increase citizen participation in the processes of implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation will be carried out by assigning the external expertise service to the project. The support of the project will lead to increased civic participation and interaction, leading to open, responsible, and partnership management in the implementation and monitoring of policies for the prevention of mental health at work at the local level.
