Implementation and monitoring of the policies and legislation of the EU and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of social partnership at the sectoral level for those working in the companies from the subsectors of mechanical engineering and in the regulation of industrial relations at the sectoral level.

The project will: -establish the implementation of EU policies and legislation in the field of social partnership (SP) at the sectoral level and practices in EU countries, the sectoral SP in Bulgaria; - clarify the mutual commitments of the countries in the field of social partnership at the sectoral level in Bulgaria and the need for changes in legislation and national policies to develop and strengthen social dialogue in mechanical engineering. Target groups: -employers from mechanical engineering companies; - trade unions - workers in mechanical engineering companies; - MLSP, etc. Expected results: - Clarification of the relevant normative acts and policies of the EU and Bulgaria in the field; - Implementation of the recommendation in Article 151 TFEU for improving European governance by involving the social partners in the decision-making process; -Response to the recommendations of the Action Plan for the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights of March 2021, including a requirement for Member States whose coverage for collective bargaining is below 70% (incl. Bulgaria, in one of the last places!) To prepare a plan to promote collective bargaining; -Creation of preconditions for establishing better partnership interaction between employees, business and state bodies.
