Through active civic participation in the processes and goals of sustainable development of the UN, to make decisions enabling periodic civic monitoring of actions, decisions and policies pursued by the state / municipality. It also creates an opportunity for citizens' ideas to be directly implemented. Thus, public opinion can be a kind of corrective to the political and priority goals of the governing power. In this way, society can be an instrument of control over public policy in relation to the UN's sustainable development goals. The benefits of civic participation are the result of an analysis and recommendation to the local government in a report on issues related to deforestation, education, biodiversity, innovation, renewable energies and a sustainable urban environment. The analysis will be based on research and work in an electronic environment, as well as feedback on the creation of demonstration events and information to the general public on the issues identified as priorities for this project proposal, namely: Renewable Energy, Innovation and Infrastructure, Responsible consumption, Sustainable cities and communities, Life on earth. As a result, we expect direct contact and work with the general public to be perceived and used as fundamental in the management of the municipality of Berkovitsa.
