Activation of the civil sector for more open and responsible management of local institutions for employment promotion in Vidin district

The main goal of the project is to activate the civil sector in the North-West region to participate in the processes of formation, implementation and monitoring of policies to promote employment, in order to ensure open and responsible management of local and national employment institutions. Open and accountable governance at the service of society should be based on effective forms of communication with stakeholders and citizens and seek feedback from service users to improve performance and comply with increased societal and European requirements for democratic governance. This approach is the focus of the project. The aim of the project is in accordance with Objective 2"Open and Responsible Governance" of procedure BG05SFOP001-2.025 and is achieved through the implementation of planned activities, each of which contributes to the specific objectives. The activities in the project lead to the following results: increasing the interaction between the local stakeholders on the labor market through research, evaluation and recommendations for open and responsible management of the institutions and the bodies of employment; increasing the role of the civil sector in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies through: advocacy campaign aimed at employment of the most vulnerable groups and information campaign on the role of the civil sector in solving unemployment problems; improving the socio-economic environment in the region by contributing to open and responsible management of the administration. Target group: the local structures of the Employment Agency-DBT-Vidin, Belogradchik, Kula; the employment bodies - mayors, regional governor of Vidin district and their employees; local socio-economic partners and NGOs; business; the public. The project is in line with SO 3 "Increasing citizen participation in the process of policy formulation and control" of PO2. The project is implemented in partnership between 2 associations for public benefit.
