IN THE LIGHT

Paid work is an inherent natural activity for the majority of the working-age population, hence the importance of public regulation in implementing this type of public relations. The highly dependent position and economic subordination of employees to their employers require the implementation of exceptional control by the state. In its essence, the control over the observance of the labor legislation is a sovereign state activity, assigned for implementing the executive power and, in particular, of the General Labour Inspectorate Executive Agency. This essential control activity is of great public importance. On the one hand, the control over the observance of the labor legislation provides the necessary guarantees for the lawful application of the legal framework. On the other hand, it is the protection of the rights of the citizens realized by the state power in the implementation of their labor and civil servant relations with the employees and the social security system. And last but not least, it is a means of self-protection of citizens in exercising their right to work through their interaction with the government agencies. Several factors affect the trust of citizens and their motivation to interact with the regulatory authorities and participate actively in the implementation of management policies for control and prevention. The leading motive for engaging citizen participation and increasing trust is the efficiency demonstrated by the control agencies in exercising the authority and the efficiency of the protection provided for the citizens. Achieving these goals requires adequate capacity and implementation of policies to "adjust" the control activity to the current needs of citizens and society. The current project proposal aims to encourage civil monitoring of the actions, decisions, and policies pursued by the state in the implementation of control over compliance with labor legislation and eliminate the preconditions for undeclared work.
