Promoting partnership management in the field of local economic development and improving the investment environment

The project "Promoting partnership management in the field of local economic development and improving the investment environment" is based on the long-term partnership built between the BRCC and the municipality of Rousse on the one hand, and the identified needs to improve cooperation between local government and business, related to involvement of business in the processes of implementation and monitoring of programs and plans for local economic development. The two partner organizations are combining efforts to identify opportunities for improving the business environment, survey for stakeholders' needs, and define a Roadmap for Action. In addition, it is planned to identify recommendations valid at the national level, which will be sent to the competent Ministries and Commissions of the National Assembly. The expected results are related to study of the needs both at the documentary level and among the target groups, as well as conducting an information campaign, including the organization of a partnership forum and a series of publications. The assessed needs of the target groups - business, socio - economic partners and the general public will be addressed through all activities, and the change in the level of interaction should provide long - term effects for these groups.
